This week I’m joined by The Man, The Myth, The Laugh – JVB. He has been involved in podcasting for over 4 years, making him equal parts ancient and wise sage. When he speaks, you listen. Naturally the majority of our conversation revolves around various aspects of podcasting – from starting a podcast to real life applications of the skills learned through podcasting. We also offer a brief analysis of the current state of rap music and naturally, we talk about his infamous laugh. If you listen closely, a certain Governor of California also makes an appearance too. Enjoy.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year one and all. We have a special show for you folks this week, reason being it’s our first uncensored show ever. After being online for over 2 years and actually being a part of our TGG show a number of times, BEN and the friends from www.GatheringofGamers.com wanted to share this event with our community. BEN is your first friend when you get your free GoG profile setup and has asked that we help their community push towards that 5,000 membership mark this week…they’re only 40 new members away!
With an event called the GoG 5,000 Party, let’s help them make sure they have 5,000 members by January 2nd!
If you’re considering attending this all-night, free, and intense gaming event in Des Moines, Iowa on January 2-3, 2010…be sure to check out the EVENT DETAILS and EVENT DISCUSSION. It sounds like a lot of attendees are traveling from out of state, so expect a neat event and cool highlights to come.
The year might be coming to an end, but Just Talking is just getting started. This week I’m joined by Diabetes Blogging Veteran Allison Blass. There’s also mention of a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days, writing a book about High School and the fact that yes, there is an App for That.

On December 18, 2009, our good friends over at TheStream.TV are hosting a 24 hour streamathon to raise money for the Pablove Foundation, to help battle pediatric cancer. Now, if you donate certain considerable amounts, you’ll even get some sweet swag in return, including CD’s and cases of EVO Energy drink. Of course, we all know times are tough these days and not everyone can afford to donate. However, there are other ways to help out like posting on Twitter.
