About

The Gamers Garage was born on September 23, 2007 after Josh (Crash616) and JT (Okatta) decided to leave Digital Combat Radio to pursue their own independent gaming podcasting careers.

Over the course of the next year, JT, Josh and Dan (Camaroguy) produced 45 excellent episodes covering all aspects of gaming with the help of various special guests.

In July of 2008 Harvin (MissFire), who was originally a co-host from the days of Digital Combat, joined in and took the reigns for Episode 49 after Dan moved on. It was also around this time when Tommy (Vegas24702) was officially added to the mix in Episode 51 with Robert (TheDCD) soon to follow in Episode 59. Then, after a year and a half of podcasting on both DC Radio and The Gamers Garage, JT stepped down to pursue personal life goals. In January 2009 Harvin stepped down after Episode 66, opening the floodgates to weeks of interesting auditions as Josh, Tommy, and Rob searched for their newest female co-host. Emma, aka “Demmalition”, joined for several episodes before stepping down. In episode 81, we introduced our latest addition to the Gamers Garage podcast, Gamegirl.com editor Raychul Moore. In episode 89 we expanded our roster once again and added Mark (Applesauce), WCG’s Ultimate Gamer Season 1 champion, who left shortly after episode 115. As the world of podcasting goes round, Raychul stepped down after episode 129, which quickly brought on Candice from Gaming Angels to the show in episode 130.

Eventually added was an E-Sports show, The Losers Bracket, in January 2010, hosted by one of our affiliates vVv Gaming, to bring you the latest news in the competitive gaming scene.

Believe it or not, gamers are people too….Stop the presses!!! Which is why in December 2009, the “Just Talking” podcast is now featured right here on our website. Chris “SugarFree” Snider brings a new show every week featuring special guests from around various communities talking about whatever they feel like, including every day life.

The Gamers Garage crew is here to cover all aspects of gaming and entertainment in their weekly episodes, while making you feel like they are sitting right there in your living room. They enjoy chatting about games, their lives, and even toss in the occasional “disagreement”.

“We like to cut out all of the drama and politics of podcasting and gaming, and just talking about games and the gaming community. Our focus is to bring gamers from all gaming communities together.”
